The Bummolo or Bummulu del Malandrino is a typical Sicilian object. It is a genuine sealed jug, into which drinks are poured through the hole at the bottom. To fill it, you must turn it upside down, and once it is returned to an upright position, the bummulo will not let the liquid poured inside escape. It was used in ancient times by farmers to carry water or wine to the countryside without spilling it and to keep it cool all day, because clay is a conductor and therefore keeps liquids at temperature.

This object is part of a refined collection that revives techniques and models of ancient Sicilian tradition. It is made entirely by hand and is guaranteed for its origin and typicality.
