The Bummolo or Bummulu del Malandrino is a typical Sicilian object. It is a real closed jug, into which drinks are poured through the hole at its bottom, so to fill it you have to turn it upside down and once brought to an upright position the bummulo will not let the liquid poured inside out. It was once used by farmers to carry water or wine to the countryside without spilling it and keep it fresh all day long, because clay is a conductor and therefore keeps liquids at temperature.

This object is part of a refined collection that revives techniques and models of ancient Sicilian tradition, it is made entirely by hand and is guaranteed for origin and typicality.
