Bottega Sicula Ceramiche Siciliane

Green Sicilian pine cone, entirely handcrafted on a lathe from fine Sicilian ceramic. Each pine nut is handcrafted and applied. The base of the pine cone is embellished with a fine artisanal decoration inspired by Sicilian Baroque.

More than anything else, pine cones are widespread on our island. Everywhere they are used to wish good luck to newlyweds, and to express authority and spirituality by placing them on the gateposts of villas and gardens. Sicilian pine cones are the symbol of a tradition that has been handed down to the present day, making them a source of pride for Sicilian art.
